Strategic Kickstarter Call: Tier 1

  • What it is:

    • A focused 45-minute video call (via Google Meet) where we discuss your current business strategy, your main challenges, and your goals. This is a chance for me to understand your needs and for you to see if my approach is a good fit. This tier consists of this single call only, with no further work or deliverables included after the call concludes.

    • Our discussion is based on your submitted documents (high level discussion).

    • Dedicated time to discuss your business's strategic pain points.

    • My initial thoughts on how economic, geopolitical, and financial market insights might be relevant to your situation. (per an analysis of your submitted documents)

    • A clear recommendation on whether Tier 2 or Tier 3 services would be most beneficial for you, or if perhaps your needs are simpler.

  • Booking & Cancellation Policy:

    • Must be booked at least one (1) week in advance. No cancellations are possible within 48 hours of the scheduled meeting.

    • You are allowed to reschedule no later than 48H before the meeting, but no refund.

    • The fee is non-refundable once paid.

  • Think of this as:

How Our Process Works (For All Tiers):

To make working together smooth and clear, here’s a simple overview of how things generally work:

  1. Starting Point - Tier 1 Call: Every engagement begins with a Tier 1: Strategic Kickstarter Call. This helps us see if we're a good fit and which service tier best suits your needs.

  2. Booking Your Call: You can book your call directly through the Acuity Scheduling link on my website.

    • Advance Booking: Please book all calls at least one (1) week in advance to allow for adequate preparation.

  3. Initial Information: As part of the scheduling process, you'll be asked to fill out a standard form. This gives me some initial information about your business and what you're looking for.

  4. Payment:

    • Tier 1: Full payment of USD $125 is required when you book your Tier 1 call.

    • Tier 2 & Tier 3: If we decide to proceed with Tier 2 or Tier 3 services after our initial call, a 60% deposit will be due upon agreement to start. The remaining 40% balance is payable within five (5) working days after our final scheduled call for that tier (specifically, after the "Final Follow-up & Refinement" session). Final deliverables will be provided once the balance payment is confirmed.

  5. Welcome & Next Steps: Once your booking (and payment for Tier 1) is confirmed, you'll receive a welcome email with any further instructions and confirmation of our meeting.

  6. File Uploads (For Tier 2 & Tier 3): If you're proceeding with Tier 2 or Tier 3, you'll have the option to securely upload relevant documents (like strategy papers or business plans) when you schedule these services. This helps me prepare effectively.

  7. Meeting Platform: All our meetings will be conducted via Google Meets.

  8. Cancellations & Rescheduling:

    • To respect each other's time, please note that no cancellations or refunds are possible within forty-eight (48) hours of our scheduled meeting for any tier.

    • If you need to reschedule before this 48-hour window, please do so via the link in your confirmation email.

    • Specific refund policies for deposits are detailed under each tier.

  9. Agreement to Terms: Before confirming any service, you'll be asked to confirm that you agree to the Service Agreement and General Terms & Conditions (which will be available for your review).

Q6: What kind of documents might I need to provide for Tier 2 or Tier 3? A: For Tier 2 and Tier 3, you'll be asked to share relevant strategy documents. Examples include your overall Business Strategy/Strategic Plan, Financial Strategy documents (noting that we review the strategy, not perform a financial audit), Operations Strategy, market analysis, etc. The more relevant information you can provide, the more tailored the insights will be. Specifics will be discussed as part of the engagement.

Q7: How does the weekly feedback process work for Tier 2 and Tier 3? A: For Tier 2 and Tier 3 engagements, you will receive a detailed weekly email from me outlining my progress, any emerging questions, and the next steps. Your timely review and email reply confirming your understanding and agreement with this progress (client sign-off) is crucial. This iterative process helps ensure we remain aligned and that the main workshop/presentation sessions are highly productive and focused on refinement rather than major reworks.

Q8: What if I need changes after the main workshop/presentation session for Tier 2 or Tier 3? A: Both Tier 2 and Tier 3 include a "Final Follow-up & Refinement" 45-minute session. This is your opportunity to ask clarifying questions or suggest specific minor refinements. Based on this call, one round of minor refinements (maximum 1 hour of my time) will be made to the deliverables. This is for fine-tuning, not a complete rework, as the weekly feedback process is designed to ensure we are aligned throughout.

Q9: Can you guarantee the success of the strategy developed? A: While I am committed to providing the highest quality advisory services using my expertise and experience, I cannot guarantee specific business outcomes, results, or profits. Business success is influenced by many factors, including your team's execution, market conditions, and other variables beyond my direct control. My role is to help you develop a more robust and informed strategy. This is also detailed in our General Terms and Conditions.

Q10: What happens after a Tier 2 or Tier 3 project is completed if I need more help? A: After completing a Tier 2 or Tier 3 engagement, you can book "Post-Project Advisory Hours" at an hourly rate of USD $125. This service is available exclusively to past Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients for ad-hoc support, advice on implementation, or to discuss new developments. These can be booked via a dedicated link in Acuity Scheduling. For more extensive ongoing support, a separate retainer agreement can be discussed.
